Dr Felicia Seemann a tenure track assistant professor at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden. She earned her PhD in Biomedical Engineering in 2020 from Lund University, Sweden, and trained as a postdoctoral fellow at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI). She was a K99 investigator at NHLBI up until January 2026. Her research focus is on the development and experimental validation of novel MRI methods for assessment of hemodynamics and physiology, with a current emphasis on cardiopulmonary applications for high-performance 0.55T MRI systems. Dr. Seemann has received several scientific awards for her research, including the SCMR Early Career Award and the SCMR Seed Grant. She is a Junior Fellow of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine, a member of the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance.
