Cassady attended The University of Cincinnati where she majored in Advanced Medical Imaging. Her program provided her with a well-rounded knowledge in the field of sonography and magnetic resonance imaging.
Over the past 23 years in advanced medical imaging, she has developed a keen interest in all things pertaining to cardiovascular medicine. She has found her niche in clinical research and serves as an integral team member of The Christ’s Hospital cardiovascular imaging research. She has also had the privilege to disseminate this research on national platforms as well as published numerous manuscripts, some of which she served as first author. Her passion is evident by her continued advancement in the field of echocardiography and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging. As a Fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography and Fellow of American College of Cardiology she serves as a mentor for sonographers and fellow researchers.
