Dr. Francesco Lauriero works at Agostino Gemelli University Hospital (Rome, Italy) as a Radiologist with a special focus on advanced cardiovascular imaging, especially cardiac MRI and CT. He completed his radiology training in 2022 at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome and further enhanced his expertise in cardiovascular MRI and CT at the Department of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology of Medical University of Vienna. There, he had the opportunity to work directly with state-of-the-art 1.5T and 3T MRI systems as well as with photon-counting CT technology for cardiovascular imaging.
He has presented at major international conferences, including the the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), and the European Congress of Radiology (ECR). He has collaborated on scientific work involving both cardiac MRI and CT, contributing to clinical research projects and the development of advanced cardiovascular imaging protocols. Dr. Lauriero is committed to integrating the latest technological innovations into routine clinical practice with the goal of improving diagnosis and care for patients with cardiovascular diseases.
