Lotte Tuinman, M.D., is a PhD-Candidate in cardiology with a focus on electrophysiology, cardiac device therapy, and cardiac MRI. She works at an Amsterdam University Medical Centre (AUMC) where she primarily conducts research on conduction system pacing (CSP), with particular interest in optimizing pacing performance and imaging for patient selection and therapy assessment.
Her current research includes the HARMONY study, a cross-over clinical trial comparing right ventricular pacing (RVP) with CSP. In HARMONY, mechanical and electrical effects of both pacing modalities are assessed using advanced cardiac MRI and ECG-based imaging.
