Dr. Jason Johnson is the Executive Co-Director of the Le Bonheur Children's Hospital Heart Institute, the Chief of Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and the Director of Cardiac MRI at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. He is a Professor of Pediatrics (Cardiology) and Radiology (Pediatrics) at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He is Editor-in-Chief for the Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Cases of SCMR. His clinical and research interests involve cardiovascular disease processes in children where CMR makes a difference in diagnosis and outcomes. Currently, he is interested in interventional CMR (iCMR) and building relationships with vendors and academicians forward iCMR utilization. Dr. Johnson also has expertise in transthoracic, transesophageal, and fetal echocardiography. He is an expert in echocardiographic guided bedside transcatheter PDA closure in extreme low-birth weight infants.
