Assistant Professor
University of Virginia Health System
Charlottesville, Virginia, United States
I am currently an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Virginia (UVA). My goal is to validate novel cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) sequences to better understand the mechanisms leading to rare cardiomyopathies, exercise intolerance, and HFpEF. I have been a part of SCMR since 2013 and currently serve as a member of the US Advocacy Committee. Starting in 2010 as an undergraduate student, I have worked on CMR research at UVA. I recently completed my NIH-funded T32 imaging fellowship in Advanced Cardiac Imaging in 2025 before joining UVA a full time faculty. I specialize in multiple modalities including CMR, CT, Nuclear, and Echo.
