Arian Seighali is a biomedical engineer and cardiovascular imaging researcher with a strong focus on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and machine learning–based image analysis. He is completing his Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering at The Ohio State University, where his research is centered on developing deep learning methods for quantitative MRI applications.
Arian’s graduate research is conducted in the Cardiovascular MRI Laboratory, where his work focuses on patient-adaptive deep learning models for estimating blood oxygen saturation from cine MRI. His master’s thesis, “DeepOx: A Deep Learning Method for Patient-Adaptive Magnetic Resonance Oximetry,” explores convolutional neural network approaches to improve robustness and accuracy of MR oximetry across varying patient and acquisition conditions.
Arian’s technical expertise includes MRI reconstruction and analysis, deep learning, Python, MATLAB, and medical image processing. His research interests include quantitative cardiovascular MRI and the translation of machine learning methods into clinically robust imaging tools.
