Clinical lecturer
University of Leeds
Leeds, England, United Kingdom
During my Medical degree at the Charite University in Berlin I completed my MD in genetics. After moving to the UK for postgraduate training I completed my PhD in Oxford focussing on 4D Flow CMR in bicuspid aortic valve disease. I then moved to Leeds to take up a clinical lectureship post in paediatric cardiology. My main research interest continues to be 4D Flow CMR especially for fast and focussed imaging in non-sedated non-contrast neonatal feed and wrap CMR and fetal CMR. I served on the SCMR membership committee for several years. I lead the SCMR fetal CMR special interest group. I am an SCMR international leadership academy fellow.
