Marcello Zapparoli, MD obtained his medical degree from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) and completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at Hospital Nossa Senhora das Graças in Curitiba. He holds a specialization in Cardiovascular Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance from the Heart Institute (InCor - HCFMUSP).
Currently, Dr. Zapparoli serves as the Coordinator of the Coronary CT Angiography and CMR Service at Quanta Diagnóstico and at DAPI, in Curitiba, Brazil.
A pioneer in the implementation of advanced cardiac imaging in Southern Brazil, he has interpreted over 30,000 cardiovascular studies throughout his career. Dr. Zapparoli is a founding member and former president of the Cardiovascular MR and CT Study Group of the Brazilian Society of Cardiology (SBC). He is also member of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT) and the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR).
