As the Medical Director of Radiology at the University Heart Center Bad Krozingen, Vice-Chair of Radiology at the Uinversity Hospital Freiburg and Professor of Cardiothoracic Imaging at the University of Freiburg, I focus on advanced cardiac CT and MRI, particularly in coronary artery disease, heart failure, and cardiomyopathies. Training in radiology and cardiac imaging in Boston and Heidelberg shaped a strong interest in quantitative imaging biomarkers and population-based imaging, aiming to improve cardiovascular risk prediction and guide individualized prevention and therapy.
