I graduated from Teikyo University School of Medicine in 1994.

I am certified as a pediatrician, a pediatric cardiologist, and a specialist in adult congenital heart disease.
Professional Experience:
Since April 2020, I have served as the division head at the Japanese Red Cross Medical Center. My career is backed by international experience, including a cardiovascular MRI clinical fellowship at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada, and a clinical fellowship in echocardiography at Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton, Canada. I have particularly enhanced my expertise in the field of pediatric cardiology.
Awards and Honors:
My achievements have been recognized with several awards. In 2018, I received the President's Award at the Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Magnetic Resonance Medicine, and the Excellent Poster Presentation Award at the Congress of the Asian Society of Cardiovascular Imaging the same year. These awards reflect my passion for research and clinical practice.
Research Interests:
My primary research interest lies in the application of cardiovascular MRI in pediatric and adult congenital heart disease. I focus particularly on cardiac function and 4D-flow MRI analysis in tetralogy of Fallot and Fontan circulation.

I have published numerous academic papers, widely sharing research findings related to the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
