PhD Research Assistant
Northwestern University
Evanston, Illinois, United States
I am a second-year PhD student with interdisciplinary educational and research experience innovating advanced cardiovascular MRI technologies. I graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Bioengineering and Electrical Engineering, and am pursuing my PhD at Northwestern University in the departments of Biomedical Engineering and Radiology.
I am currently investigating arrhythmia sensitivity and dynamic inversion time procedures for highly accelerated cardiac magnetic resonance imaging, including pulse sequence development for 3D late gadolinium enhancement (LGE) or Dixon MRI.
I aspire to become a teaching professor in the field of medical imaging and next-generation diagnostic medicine, and translating clinical MR imaging to the technological state of the art.
