My research specialises in advanced cardiac imaging and computational modelling. My current PhD research at the Auckland Bioengineering Institute, University of Auckland, focuses on investigating non-invasive strain imaging techniques to improve early detection of cardiovascular disease using MRI and machine learning. I aim to develop tools for deriving clinically meaningful strain metrics from conventional and advanced, displacement encoding with stimulated echoes (DENSE), cardiac MRI.
