Eric Buffle, MD-PhD completed his clinical training in internal medicine and Cardiology at the university hospitals in Geneva and Bern. He obtained his PhD in 2022 at the university of Bern. His research focuses on the development of new diagnostic tools for valvular heart disease in clinical and in-vitro/ex-vivo studies. He is currently working at the laboratory physics for medicine in Paris and at Hôpital Européen Georges Pompidou on the development of new methods in ultrafast echocardiography and 4D-flow cardiac magnetic resonance applied to mitral and tricuspid regurgitation.
