Huayan Xu, radiologist, Associate Researcher, Doctoral supervisor in the West China second university hospital of Sichuan. I am the SCMR member of clinical trial committee. I have been always focused on the clinical utilization of cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR). I researched the diagnostic and prognostic value of CMR modalities, such as myocardial perfusion, T1mapping, LGE and T2*mapping et al, in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, dilated cardiomyopathy, diabetic cardiomyopathy and uremic cardiomyopathy. I published papers on the EHJ, JACC, JCMR and JAHA et al. I have reported our CMR researches on SCMR, ECR, and ESC et al. Also, I got several grant fundings including National Natural Science Foundation of China. Recent five years, I established a prospective cohort of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, which has almost 500 pediatric boys and finished over 700 CMR scanning. I led our team to conduct the researches about myocardial injury and treatment clinical trials of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy associated cardiomyopathy, especially using CMR as intervention biomarkers or endpoints. Some results had been published about these researches already.
