With over 15 years of experience in pre-clinical imaging, I have pioneered Relaxation Along a Fictitious Field with rank n (RAFFn) MRI method in heart in my PhD thesis, demonstrating, for the first time, its ability to characterize MI. After my PhD, I commenced my own translational research line, refining adiabatic spin lock methods and developing the idea for tuning and improving RAFFn methods further. My research group (https://uefconnect.uef.fi/en/cardiac-imaging-group/ ) and I were among the first to demonstrate robustness and cardiac tissue differentiation with T2rho and fully adiabatic T1rho. As a PI of multiple clinical cardiac MRI studies, I am bringing a deep insight into both preclinical and clinical MRI.
