Amanda Potersnak is a nationally recognized leader in interventional cardiac MRI (iCMR) with more than 25 years of experience in advanced MRI. As Senior ICMR Implementation Specialist at IMRICOR Medical Systems Inc., she is spearheading the development of EP iCMR workflows and driving adoption of interventional MRI across the United States.
Previously, Amanda served as Advanced Imaging Coordinator at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, where she established the first iCMR and comprehensive pediatric stress MRI programs on the West Coast, expanding access to life-saving diagnostics for children with complex congenital heart disease. Her career also includes leadership roles at the National Institutes of Health, where she was Interventional Cardiac MRI Lead, and at Children’s Medical Center Dallas, where she launched the first interventional CMR lab in the southern United States.
Amanda has trained countless technologists and fellows in imaging complex congenital heart disease and was the first technologist to serve on the SCMR Congenital Heart Steering Committee. Her expertise spans a diverse portfolio of specialized MRI programs, including lymphatic imaging, fetal cardiac MRI, stress MRI, ferumoxytol-enhanced imaging, and pacemaker MRI. She collaborates closely with cardiology teams to create integrated environments for diagnostic catheterizations and dynamic lymphangiography, improving outcomes for patients with rare and complex conditions.
Her clinical and research interests include cardiac MRI in congenital heart disease, advanced tumor imaging, and cardiac sequence development, with a focus on innovation, collaboration, and expanding access to care.
