Dr. Hor is a Pediatric Cardiologist at Nationwide Children's Hospital and is Director of the Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging and Fellowship Program as well as the Associate Division Chief of Research in the Heart Center. He specializes in advance imaging including the use of novel CMR techniques for assessment of tissue characteristics as well as myocardial strain for earlier detection of occult cardiomyopathy before decline of global function by ejection fraction. His research and clinical focus includes Duchenne muscular dystrophy, tissue engineering vascular graft in Fontan patients and the use of CMR and fluid dynamics to assess the grafts as well as RVOT assessment using CMR for transcatheter implantation for both clinical balloon expandable and ongoing research with self expandable pulmonary valves. Dr. Hor is a PI, CO-PI and CO-I on multiple federally funded research.
