I am a pediatric cardiologist with advanced training and expertise in pediatric cardiac imaging. I specialize in echocardiography and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR) with a particular interest in cardiomyopathy and transplant. I am the PI of an R01 from the FDA, R01s from the NHLBI, and an R61/R33 from the NHLBI for my work in DMD cardiomyopathy and pediatric heart transplant. I am the Director of Clinical Research for Pediatric Cardiology and the Pediatric Cardiac Imaging Research Center at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. I have previously served as Co-Chair of the SCMR Pediatric Multicenter Research Committee as well as a member and prior Chair of the SCMR Pediatric and Congenital Steering Committee.
