Tuan Minh Luu, R.T. (MR), CNMT, MRSO is an accomplished MRI technologist and imaging leader with over 20 years of experience in diagnostic imaging across clinical, academic, and research settings. He currently serves at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where he has held progressive roles including MRI Lead Technologist, Clinical Manager, and MRI Applications Specialist.
Tuan specializes in advanced MRI applications, with particular expertise in cardiac and cardiovascular MRI, magnetic resonance spectroscopy, and protocol development and optimization across 1.5T, 3.0T, and 7.0T platforms. He is highly proficient in Siemens and GE MRI systems and has contributed to both clinical excellence and research initiatives through workflow optimization, quality improvement, and technical innovation.
As a certified Magnetic Resonance Safety Officer (MRSO), Tuan plays a key role in MRI safety, quality assurance, and accreditation, including ACR phantom testing, ANCR reviews, and scanner accreditation processes. He is widely recognized for his collaborative approach, working closely with radiologists, cardiologists, physicists, and research teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered imaging.
In addition to his clinical leadership, Tuan has served as Adjunct Faculty at MCPHS University, mentoring future imaging professionals and advancing MRI education. He remains committed to continuous learning, professional mentorship, and advancing MRI technology and safety.
