Dr. Monica Mukherjee is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University Division of Cardiology and specialize in advanced cardiac imaging, including echocardiography, cardiac CT, and research applications of cardiac MRI. She is Board Certified in Adult Echocardiography, and serves as Director of Echocardiographic Research. Dr. Mukherjee graduated Summa Cum Laude with dual Bachelors degrees in Psychology and Behavioral Neurosciences from the University of Florida. She completed her medical school and fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease from the George Washington University School of Medicine. She is also a graduate of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health with a Masters degree concentrated on Biostatistics and Epidemiology. Her research has focused on noninvasive imaging of the right ventricle in pulmonary hypertension and scleroderma. She currently is funded by the Scleroderma Foundation, Stauralakis Family Fund, and the National Institutes of Health (R01HL119012, R01HL114910).
