Shuo Zhang, PhD, is Senior Global Clinical Portfolio Manager for MR at Philips, leading global strategy and portfolio development in cardiovascular and pediatric MRI. He has over 20 years of experience in cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) across academia, clinical research, and the medical imaging industry.
His expertise includes non-contrast MR angiography, 4D cardiovascular flow MRI, motion-robust and quantitative imaging, and AI-enabled clinical solutions. Dr. Zhang has driven the translation of innovative CMR technologies into clinically validated products through close collaboration with clinicians and industry partners.
He previously held senior R&D and clinical scientist roles at Philips in Europe and APAC, and was a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute and DZHK. He holds a PhD in Medical Physics and MBA.
