Dr. Ankush is a cardiothoracic imaging fellow at Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. A physician-scientist with a strong interest in advanced cardiovascular imaging, he completed a dedicated Cardiothoracic and Vascular Imaging fellowship in India before joining his current program. Dr. Ankush has distinguished himself through focused clinical training, enthusiasm for cardiovascular MRI (CMR), and growing scholarly productivity. His core interests include workflow optimization for multimodality imaging and applying artificial intelligence to extract predictive information from CMR datasets. He is committed to translating technical innovation into clinically useful tools that improve diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes. Dr. Ankush regularly collaborates across radiology, cardiology, and engineering teams and is actively engaged in research and education within the department.
