Xiangliang Huang is a PhD student in Biomedical Engineering at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where his research focuses on advanced cardiac MRI reconstruction, quantitative mapping, and physics-informed machine learning. His work combines model-based reconstruction, deep generative models, graph neural networks, and reinforcement learning to accelerate cardiac imaging and improve physiological motion characterization.
He has contributed to the development of multitasking MRI reconstruction pipelines, respiratory and cardiac phase–resolved T1/T2 mapping techniques, and MR sequence–specific reconstruction frameworks such as TrueFISP and GRE.
