Dr. Saeed Ghaithan, MBBS
I am currently a third-year Master’s student in Cardiology at West China Hospital of Sichuan University, specializing in advanced cardiovascular research. I earned my MBBS from Sun Yat-sen University in China, and completed my residency in internal medicine at Althawra Hospital in Sana’a, Yemen.
My research focuses on non-ischemic dilated cardiomyopathy, with particular interest in the prognostic value of left atrioventricular coupling assessed through cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR). My work aims to improve diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for heart failure patients.
In addition to my clinical training and research, I am an active member of the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR). I am dedicated to advancing the field of cardiology by integrating cutting-edge research with patient care to enhance cardiovascular health outcomes.
