Dr. Jie Zheng is a Professor of Radiology and Biomedical Engineering in Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University in St. Louis, USA. Dr. Zheng earned his PhD in the field of medical physics. He has been worked in the research area of magnetic resonance imaging for over 25 years, focusing on the cardiovascular imaging, including coronary artery, myocardial perfusion, myocardial metabolism, and peripheral perfusion imaging. His majority of research is funded by Whitaker Foundation, American Heart Association, and National Institute of Health.
