I am a PhD candidate at The Ohio State University. My interests are in artificial intelligence for image segmentation and reconstruction, fat quantification, and CMR biomarkers. I would like to integrate these concepts to be able to improve the imaging and quantification of epicardial adipose tissue, an emerging biomarker of cardiovascular disease. By making such improvements, we can elucidate longitudinal changes in the adipose tissue volume and composition as a response to disease progression as well as therapeutic interventions. The objective is to design AI-driven workflows that can be easily integratable in research and clinical workflows.
