Dr. Ronald Manorekang is a clinical cardiology registrar in the West Yorkshire Deanery, UK. He completed an MRes in Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Sheffield, graduating with distinction and receiving the David Cumberland Prize for achieving the highest overall mark.
He has gained broad clinical experience across hospitals in Yorkshire and the Midlands, managing a wide spectrum of cardiac conditions. Alongside his clinical work, Dr. Manorekang has led and contributed to multiple research, audit, and quality improvement projects, resulting in peer-reviewed publications and international presentations.
He is currently a clinical research fellow under the supervision of Dr. Anvesha Singh and Professor Gerry McCann, focusing on aortic stenosis, particularly the challenge of risk stratification in asymptomatic patients. His research aims to advance understanding of disease progression and improve patient outcomes.
