Dr. Pakaparn Kittichokechai is a Pediatric Cardiologist and Clinical Instructor at Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand, specializing in advanced cardiac imaging with expertise in cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) and cardiac computed tomography (CT). She completed her residency training and pediatric cardiology fellowship at Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, and subsequently pursued a research fellowship in advanced cardiac imaging at Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Kittichokechai’s research focuses on vascular ring anomalies and cardiomyopathy, emphasizing the use of multimodality imaging to guide clinical decision-making in congenital and acquired heart disease. She has authored notable publications, including “Anatomic Characteristics of the Right Aortic Arch with Aberrant Left Subclavian Artery in Patients Who Do and Do Not Undergo Vascular Ring Repair,” which was selected as a finalist for the Young Investigator Award at SCCT 2024 and presented at the SCCT 2024 Annual Scientific Meeting, as well as “Long-term follow-up of cardiac magnetic resonance imaging in myocarditis following mRNA COVID-19 vaccination: a case report.”
In addition to her clinical and research work, Dr. Kittichokechai is dedicated to medical education and actively mentors residents and fellows in pediatric cardiology and advanced imaging. She remains committed to advancing excellence in pediatric cardiovascular imaging and improving long-term outcomes for children with heart disease.
