Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands
Geoffrey de Mooij is a PhD candidate at Amsterdam UMC under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Götte, specializing in advanced cardiovascular MRI techniques for the assessment of obstructive coronary artery disease. His research focuses on the clinical application of quantitative perfusion imaging, T1 reactivity mapping, and oxygenation-sensitive CMR to improve the noninvasive evaluation of myocardial ischemia. A central aim of his work is to advance toward a fully needle-free, contrast-free, and radiation-free approach to assessing obstructive coronary artery disease. Through these innovations, Geoffrey strives to enhance diagnostic precision and deepen the understanding of coronary pathophysiology, ultimately contributing to more effective and individualized cardiovascular care.
