Dan Davies, MD, is a cardiologist and multimodality cardiovascular imager at Allegheny General Hospital and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine. He completed both his Cardiovascular Medicine and Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging fellowships at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN with comprehensive training in cardiac MRI, CT, echocardiography, and nuclear imaging. Dr. Davies serves as Director of the Amyloidosis Clinic at Allegheny Health Network, leading a growing multispecialty program focused on early detection and advanced diagnostic pathways. His research centers on cardiac amyloidosis, hypertrophic phenotypes, and genetic dilated cardiomyopathies, including authorship of the “Simple Score” for ATTR-CM. He is an active reviewer for multiple cardiology journals and engages extensively in medical education and program development.
