Enas Ahmed, A cardiology-trained physician and cardiovascular imaging researcher with expertise spanning clinical cardiology, advanced cardiac imaging, and artificial intelligence applications in medicine. She graduated with her M.B.,B.Ch from the Faculty of Medicine at Suez Canal University in 2014, and subsequently pursued postgraduate training, earning her Master’s degree in Cardiology in 2019.
She is currently working as a Research Fellow in the Department of Radiology at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota, where she works in the AI-CARE Lab. Her role involves developing and contributing to multiple projects related to cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging (CMR), compressed sensing techniques, and artificial intelligence integration in cardiac imaging.
Dr. Ahmed has contributed to several peer-reviewed scientific publications and international conference presentations, including research published in Circulation, Heart Rhythm, and the Journal of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance. Her work investigates diagnostic accuracy in cardiomyopathies, arrhythmic risk in cardiac sarcoidosis, and innovation in rapid CMR imaging techniques. She also presented research on right-heart dysfunction in cardiac amyloidosis at ISA 2024.
She holds professional certifications from the National Board of Echocardiography and the European Resuscitation Council (ALS Instructor). Dr. Ahmed continues to build her academic and clinical career at the intersection of cardiology, radiology, and artificial intelligence, with a strong commitment to advancing patient care and medical innovation.
