Avantika Banerjee is a third year cardiology fellow and current chief fellow at Georgetown University. She is a former research fellow at the National Institutes of Health NHLBI division where she worked on meta analytics of the ACCORD trial. She will be completing subspecialty fellowship in Advanced Imaging (CT/MRI) and has a particular interest in systemic inflammatory diseases and their cardiac involvement.
