Lasya Gaur is an associate professor and director of cardiac echocardiography at the University of Texas-Southwestern/Dallas Children’s Medical Center. She completed medical school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, pediatrics residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and cardiology and advanced imaging fellowships at the Children’s National Medical Center, Washington DC. Her clinical focus is in cardiac MRI and echo and research interests include 3D applications for procedural planning, as well as emerging artificial intelligence machine learning methods to improve interpretation and resource utilization in clinical care.
