Dr. Al-Mallah is the Past President of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. He is a multimodality imager and the director of Cardiovascular PET at the Houston Methodist Hospital and Professor of Medicine at Weil Cornell school of Medicine. Dr. Al-Mallah’s research focuses on the prognostic value of advanced cardiac imaging including nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT and cardiac MRI procedures and its impact on risk prediction, patient management and outcomes. He has more than 500 scientific publications and book chapters and has received multiple grants from various funding agencies. Dr. Al-Mallah is an Associate Editor of European Heart Journal, Journal of Nuclear Cardiology and Atherosclerosis and as a member of the Editorial Board of JACC-I and EHJ-cardiovascular imaging.
