Mariana Lamacie, MD, FSCMR

Mariana Lamacié is a cardiologist specialized in cardiovascular computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging (Sao Paulo, Brazil). In 2015, she moved to Canada and worked as a research fellow in cardiac MRI and as a chief clinical fellow in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantation at the University of Toronto. In 2018, Mariana joined the Division of Cardiology at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute as an Assistant Professor, where she worked as an advanced heart failure-transplant and imaging cardiologist and established and directed a dedicated cardiac neuromuscular program. Currently, Mariana Lamacie is a full time imaging cardiologist at Middlemore Hospital, Auckland, New Zealand, and consults at The Heart Group. She has special interest in cardiomyopathies, including genetic and neuromuscular conditions, heart failure, cardiovascular MRI and CT.
