James Moon is a Professor of Cardiology, University College London, Barts Heart Centre. The winner of the 2022 SCMR gold medal, his research (600 papers, H index 118) focuses on better understanding rare and common heart conditions by creating new tests, linking them to treatment and delivering them to global care. He developed many of the techniques used in CMR globally such as ECV and first described LGE in multiple conditions such as amyloid.
He is CEO of MyCardium AI Ltd (www.mycardium.com) which has created superhuman AI and translates it to global care and drug development having developed best in class CMR and Echo software.
