Dr. Infante received his undergraduate training in biomedical engineering and his medical degree at the University of Miami. He completed diagnostic radiology residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami, where he also pursued extended training in cardiac imaging and imaging informatics, serving as Chief Resident and Informatics Resident. He subsequently completed fellowship training in pediatric radiology at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago/Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Infante held academic appointments at the University of Miami, where he served as Vice Chair for Imaging Informatics and IT and Director of MRI at Jackson Memorial Hospital, with a clinical focus on pediatric and adult congenital cardiac and transplant imaging. He later served as Associate Director of Enterprise Imaging Informatics at Nemours Children’s Hospital and is currently an attending pediatric radiologist at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami, with a volunteer faculty appointment at the University of Miami. His clinical and research interests center on congenital cardiac MRI and CT, contrast optimization and timing strategies, non-contrast MR angiographic techniques, and workflow-driven imaging innovation.
