OCMR
Oxford, England, United Kingdom
I am the Lead MRI Radiographer at the Oxford Centre for Clinical Magnetic Resonance Research (OCMR) in the University of Oxford.
I completed my BSc at the Royal Military College of Science. I have worked as a radiographer both here in the UK and New Zealand.
My background was originally in sports injuries and my MSc thesis was on asymptomatic bone stress injuries in athletes and military personnel.
I now lead a team of radiographers who undertake clinical cardiac MR imaging for OUH Trust and the surrounding regions. We also undertake a range of cutting edge MR imaging research of the heart, brain and liver.
I am the Technologist on the SCMR board of trustees. I chair the Technologist section and the Technologist track for the annual scientific committee. I also sit on the SCMR verification committee.
I have co-authored over 20 papers in CMR.
