Prof. Saul Myerson is a consultant cardiologist at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, UK. He has 25 years’ experience of cardiology and CMR, and leads the clinical CMR service in Oxford, a reference centre for CMR, with a large CMR research portfolio. He has extensive experience of all areas of CMR, with a particular interest in valve and congenital disease. He is also the current president of the British Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance.
He is an associate professor at the University of Oxford and his clinical and research interests are primarily in heart valve disease, aortic and congenital heart disease. He has published over 130 peer reviewed papers.
He has given many national and international lectures and is editor of the Oxford Handbooks of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance, Cardiology Emergencies, and Valve Disease. He qualified from the University of Bristol and completed further training in London and Oxford.
