Having trained in Cardiology in 2012, I completed my training in Cardiac Imaging in Spain (Hospital Clínico San Carlos and Hospital Sant Pau i la Santa Creu). Upon returning to Chile, I contributed to the development of cardiac imaging, primarily cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR), applying all current techniques (stress CMR, 4DF, devices) and promoting the technique among cardiologists in Chile, where it was previously underutilized. Currently, we are one of the leading national referral and reference centers. In parallel with the development of the technique, we incorporated cardiology residents from Diego Portales University so they could learn and apply it, along with offering multiple cardiac imaging courses throughout the country. Currently, our focus is on increasing our examination volume and the hours available for them.
