She holds a medical degree from the Federal University of Maranhão, completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Irmandade Santa Casa de Misericórdia de São Paulo, and a residency in Cardiology at the Dante Pazzanese Institute of Cardiology. She is certified as a Specialist in Cardiology by the Brazilian Society of Cardiology, holds a specialization in Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance and Computed Tomography from the Dante Pazzanese Institute of Cardiology, and earned a PhD in Cardiology from the University of São Paulo School of Medicine. She currently works as an Assistant Cardiologist at the Cancer Institute of the State of São Paulo (ICESP), an Assistant Cardiologist at Hospital Sírio-Libanês, and a Cardiovascular Imaging Physician at Rede D’Or São Paulo.
